How accurate is this color season quiz?
It is a quick estimate. The quiz scores your answers on three qualities, warm or cool, light or deep, and clear or soft, and picks the closest of the 12 seasons. Self-reported answers are easily skewed by indoor lighting, habit and hair dye, so treat the result as a starting point and look at the close second it shows too.
What is the difference between undertone and color season?
Undertone is only the warm, cool or neutral tint beneath your skin. Your color season also takes in how light or deep your coloring is and how clear or soft it is. Two people with the same warm undertone can be very different seasons, for example Light Spring and Deep Autumn.
Do you store my answers or a photo?
No. This quiz never asks for a photo, and your answers are scored inside your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the page sets no cookies. The shareable link only contains your season, undertone and close second.
Why might the Coloura app give me a different season?
The app adds a measurement of your actual skin color from a daylight selfie to the same questions. That extra data can move you to a neighboring season, most often between seasons that share a family or a quality, such as Soft Autumn and Soft Summer. When the two disagree, the selfie result is the better guide.
